Ricardo Fortún has a Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and has been practising as a lawyer specialising in Employment and Social Security Law since 2006.

Throughout his professional career, he has specialised in providing legal advice to companies, with the maxim of offering his clients practical, effective and preventive advice in the field of labour relations. He is a specialist in company reorganisation and restructuring processes and as a result has extensive experience in the field of collective bargaining.

The activity he has been carrying out with management personnel and, specifically, senior management, has given him extensive experience in this unique area, which has enabled him to acquire a practical knowledge of the idiosyncrasies of this type of labour dispute.

The practice of law has led him to provide legal assistance and defence for his clients in court, in all types of legal proceedings and at all levels, including the National Court, the High Court, etc.

He is passionate about new technologies and is a strong advocate of the importance of sharing knowledge, which is why he is very involved in training and teaching. He is the author of several articles and publications, and participates as a speaker on courses and at conferences on labour matters in companies, associations and specialist forums. He has also been Honorary Contributor to the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession at the Complutense University of Madrid, as well as Lecturer at the School of Legal Practice of that University.
